Benyamim Tsedaka, is a venerable figure and head of the Israelite Samaritan Information Center, He is a distinguished elder of his people. Born in 1944 in Nablus, Tsedaka has dedicated his life to preserving and disseminating knowledge about Samaritan life. With a wealth of expertise, he has authored over 120 books and 2,000 articles, delving into the intricacies of Samaritan history.

Tsedaka's commitment extends beyond the written word; since 1966, he has welcomed tourists and educational groups to Samaritan sites in Holon and Mt. Gerizim. A graduate in the History of the People of Israel and Bible Studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Tsedaka has been the chief editor of the newspaper A.B The Samaritan News since 1969.

Beyond his editorial role, Tsedaka has contributed significantly to Samaritan culture. As the choir director for the Israelite Samaritan Music Ensemble from 1980 and chairman of the Samaritan basketball team, he has woven himself into various facets of Samaritan life. Tsedaka also established the A.B Institute of Samaritan Studies, teaching globally in Hebrew, Arabic, and English.

In 1985, he founded the Society of Samaritan Studies and initiated the Samaritan Medal Committee for Peace and Humanitarian Achievements. His contributions extend to biblical scholarship, where he published the Israelite Samaritan version of the Torah, featuring side-by-side translations of the Samaritan and Jewish Pentateuch.
